Building the Case for a Safer Yellowstone County
Yellowstone County needed to help voters understand how an overcrowded detention facility was affecting law enforcement, the courts and the broader community. Kinetic developed a video campaign bringing together voices from across the criminal justice system to show the real-world impact — and why addressing it had become increasingly urgent.
The centerpiece was a long-form film connecting capacity, public safety, treatment and accountability into one cohesive story. Interviews with judges, law enforcement, detention staff and community leaders showed how the consequences of overcrowding extend far beyond the walls of the facility.
Kinetic also created a library of shorter videos for CTV, YouTube and social media, adapting the larger story into focused messages designed to reach voters across platforms.
