Retail Lifestyle Photography for a Modern Billings Dispensary
High Mountain set out to change the expectations of cannabis retail in Montana. With an emphasis on locally grown products, wellness and the Montana lifestyle, the brand wanted its dispensaries to feel more like welcoming boutiques than traditional cannabis shops.
Kinetic approached the photography with that same perspective. We styled the retail environment and coordinated local talent to capture the experience of visiting High Mountain, including natural interactions with staff and the merchandise that makes the brand distinct. Product packaging and branded apparel were photographed alongside lifestyle scenes, giving customers a feel for the store before stepping inside.
The photography became part of a larger brand experience Kinetic helped develop, with images used throughout High Mountain’s website and marketing materials. It gave the company a way to introduce cannabis retail through a more approachable, lifestyle-focused lens.
